Ahlul Bayt News Agency - In his trip to Lebanon for attending First General Assembly of Islamic Resistance Ulema Union, President of Iran Unity Center, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki also visited Speaker of Lebanon Parliament, Nabih Berri.
The meeting centered on recent events occurring in the region and the World with its both sides placing emphases on the necessity of siding with the oppressed nation of Palestine and also discussing the roadmaps and mechanisms for enhancement of Islamic unity among Muslims nations.
Ayatollah Araki briefed on programs and objectives advanced by the World Forum together with achievements attained in the First General Assembly of Islamic Resistance Ulema Union hosted by Lebanon Capital city of Beirut.
General Secretary of World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought and Lebanon Parliament Speaker also touched upon the prime importance of unity and solidarity among Muslim nations in countering their enemies and making inroads in various arenas.
Thereafter the meeting, the grand Ayatollah attended a presser, answering reporters’ questions over a variety of issues and unity related measures. President of Iran top unity body stressed the necessity of moves for ensuring unity among Muslims in the World of Islam.
First General Assembly of Islamic Resistance Ulema Union was mounted in Lebanon Capital of Beirut with prominent religious leaders and thinkers in attendance.
